Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and be legally able to enter this agreement. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Independent educational service
Fire Spark is independent software and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official service of the FDNY or the City of New York. References to departments, examinations, documents, and trademarks identify the subject of study only. Fire Spark does not replace official publications, orders, training, legal duties, safety procedures, or exam notices.
Subscriptions and automatic renewal
Core membership costs $30 per month and Complete membership costs $42 per month. The selected membership begins when Stripe confirms payment and renews automatically each month at the disclosed price until canceled. Stripe processes payment details. You authorize recurring charges when you complete Checkout.
You may cancel online at any time through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and ordinarily leaves access available through the paid period. Price or material subscription changes will be disclosed as required by applicable law. Taxes may be added where required.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights or remedies.
Permitted use
Membership is personal and may not be shared, resold, scraped, copied in bulk, used to reconstruct a question bank or source library, used to bypass access controls, or used unlawfully. You may not probe the service, interfere with other users, introduce malicious code, or use automated systems without written permission.
Intellectual property
Fire Spark owns or licenses its software, original interface, branding, and original study content. Third-party names, marks, and source materials remain the property of their respective owners. No ownership in third-party material is claimed. A rights holder may send a sufficiently detailed infringement notice through the listed support contact.
No exam or accuracy guarantee
Study content may contain errors, omissions, generated material, or outdated information. We do not promise a score, promotion, certification, uninterrupted availability, or that content is complete or current. Verify important information against current official sources and use professional judgment.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, fraud, security risk, material breach, unlawful use, or conduct that threatens the service or others. Users may stop using the service and cancel renewal at any time. Provisions that reasonably should survive termination—including payment, intellectual-property, disclaimer, and dispute provisions—will survive.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated here. To the extent permitted by law, Fire Spark will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Any aggregate liability will not exceed the membership fees paid by you during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
Changes and governing rules
We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be disclosed as required by law. Applicable law and venue depend on the operator’s legal entity and location, while mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
